MY STORY

I am a BMC Global Makeup Artist Graduate and Canadian Beauty Influencer with over 130,000 followers on YouTube @baileyvanderveen & Instagram @baileyvanderveen. I specialize in Makeup & Hair Styling for commercials, photoshoots, events & weddings as well as Special FX & Prosthetics for TV & Film. I have trained and lived in cities all over Canada including Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg, and been flown for makeup services to New York, LA, Palm Springs and Connecticut, Fargo, Vancouver & Toronto.

I have worked on projects including E! Canada, CTV, Breakfast Television Vancouver, and CBC Manitoba, various film projects, music videos, campaigns & commercials for brands such as Corona Beer, Coal & Canary Candles, Canadian Museum of Human Rights, Philocaly Hair Extensions, Miss World Canada, Manitoba Hydro, Manitoba Public Insurance, Centennial Concert Hall, MAHCP, & Manitoba Egg Farmers. I have also worked on TV shows such as Acting Good on CTV, Secrets, Lies & DNA Ties, multiple Lifetime movies and Finally Caught seasons 3-6

While building my social media presence on YouTube & Instagram while in Makeup School, I won the Technique Award as a finalist in the NYX Professional Makeup FACE Awards in Los Angeles.

I also have an extensive background in cosmetic retail and training, working for brands as an Artist for: MAC, Chanel, Too Faced, Stila, as well as a Brand Artistry Trainer/Educator for Smashbox/GlamGlow & National Trainer for NYX Cosmetics.

I have taught Media Masterclasses at Canadian makeup schools such as ‘CMU: College of Makeup & Art’, and ‘GLOW Makeup Academy’ in Toronto, ON. I have also taught Makeup Artistry at the 'BeeYouTee Factory' in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
